Drink up at False Idol Speakeasy!

Home to some of the tastiest cocktails in town, False Idol Tiki Bar located somewhere within Craft and Commerce in Little Italy is a must visit spot for the holidays! We sampled our way through the menu and fell in love with their Hot Buttered Rum, and Banana Egg Nog, both of which are made in house!


New Year's Eve Celebrations at Dockside 1953

Celebrate on Mission Bay this New Year’s Eve! Ring in 2023 with a special prix fixe dinner at Dockside 1953 at the Bahia Resort Hotel complete with a complimentary champagne toast. You can also continue the celebration with a festive after party featuring entertainment, a dessert and coffee station, a cash bar, and party favors!

Toast to the New Year at Serea

Join Chef Jojo Ruiz and Team over at Serea this New Years Eve! Chef has put together a delicious prix-fixe menu featuring some of his best dishes from surf, turf, and land (a little something for everyone). The 4 course menu (also featuring a little bonus amuse) also includes a champagne toast — perfect for toasting to the good times of 2022 and the exciting times to come in 2023!

New Years Eve at The Marine Room

Ring in the new year with bubbly, craft cocktails and whimsical dishes at the all-new Lounge at the Marine Room in La Jolla. 

The Lounge menu features a selection of small plates by Executive Chef Mike Minor including Dry Aged Bluefin Tuna Carpaccio made with lemon oil, ginger, yuzu, black winter truffle, and garlic chili aioli; Surf and Turffeaturing Hokkaido scallop, Kurobuta pork belly, caviar, bacon, and whiskey jam; and Golden Tartare made with hand cut tenderloin, fermented pineapple mustard aioli, bone marrow butter, pretzel, and black truffle. On New Year’s Eve, the Lounge will be serving specials such as Uni Cornets made with cognac uni mousse, fresh Santa Barbara uni, caviar, and chive; Sonoma Lamb Lollipops made with Oaxacan mole, fermented pineapple chutney, and pumpkin seed crust; and Stone Crab Cocktail made with lemon tarragon aioli and cocktail sauce. 

The Whistle Pig Wagyu Old Fashioned and Oaxacan Night are the perfect drinks to cheers with while enjoying stunning oceanfront views. The Lounge also offers a special selection of Library Wines by the glass including options such as Baron "L" De Ladoucette, Loire Valley and Nickel & Nickel, DeCarla Vineyard, Napa Valley. 

Throughout the night, guests can expect to enjoy lively entertainment. 

The Lounge will offer three seating times on New Year’s Eve: 4-6pm, 6-9pm, and 9pm-1am.

Party with Malarkey at Herb & Wood

The final night of 2022 deserves delicious plans…and lots of champagne. Chef Carlos Anthony has prepared a lavish 4-course pre-fixe menu
with add-ons like caviar, in case you’re in the mood to be extravagant. Bring your best party outfit and they’ll supply the bubbles. Let’s party into the New Year! Dinner will be in 3 seatings: 5 PM, 7 PM, & 9:15 PM + an After Party.

Beautiful Views at InternContinental’s Signature Restaurant Vistal

InterContinental San Diego’s signature Baja-inspired waterfront restaurant Vistal is offering a special New Year’s Eve dining experience with unobstructed views of the bay. From 7pm to 9:30pm, guests can reserve a table to share a delicious, coursed out meal with friends and loved ones. First course appetizer options will include Ice Wine Poached Pear with humboldt fog brulée, arugula and farro salad, pecans, pickled mustard seeds, maple-white balsamic reduction, U10 Diver Scallops with blood sausage, apple and fennel confit, toasted hazelnuts and poblano velouté and Beef Carpaccio with petite cress, radish, artichoke hearts, burnt scallion aioli, parmigiano reggiano and black truffle salt. Choose from one of three luxurious entrees offerings; Vegan Beetroot Bourguignon with pee wee potatoes, baby carrots, pearl onions, morel mushrooms, and beetroot-thyme braising jus, Seaweed Crusted Chilean Seabass with risotto nero, salsify, sea beans and uni emulsion or a 16 oz Beef Prime Rib topped with wild mushrooms, asparagus and triple cream brie cheese, house tater tots and rosemary jus. End the year on a sweet note, with Vistal’s Mini Dessert Trio featuring chocolate praline mousse, lemon cream yuzu choux and mango-passion fruit mousse cake.

New Year Additions to One Paseo

One Paseo is here to help you start the year off right with their great new weekend addition - The One Paseo Farm Truck! One Paseo is excited to partner with local food system advocate Alchemy San Diego to open a one of a kind Farm Truck. It’s the perfect spot to pick up your local, organic and seasonal produce, as well as some beautiful flowers supplied by Daily Harvest Express. While you’re supporting your local farmers, be sure to scout out some of One Paseo’s new murals — they’re the perfect photo op — maybe even an opportunity to pose with some fresh flowers that you picked up from the Farm Truck!
